
Michelle Allison practices in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate Law, Appellate Practice, and Commercial Litigation.
Ms. Allison is Of Counsel for the Firm, and has experience in all aspects of civil litigation including arbitration, mediation and trial. She represented corporate and individual clients in personal injury, construction and commercial litigation matters. She previously practiced insurance defense and civil rights law, particularly §1983 cases.
Ms. Allison was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and traveled extensively during her childhood. Her family finally settled in Las Vegas after being stationed at Nellis AFB. Ms. Allison was a National Merit Scholar, and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1990. After college, she gained experience in the Las Vegas hotel/casino industry, working at the MGM Grand. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1999. Ms. Allison also is proud of her participation in charitable organizations, including the Clark County Education Association Community Foundation, the Center for Teaching Excellence, Ted E. Vegas ("Good Bears of the World") and After-School All Stars.
Ms. Allison is a member of the State Bar of Nevada (Probate and Trust Section), the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, the American Bar Association (Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section), the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys and the Clark County Bar Association.
